Barnegat Fishing Charter

Barnegat Fluke Fishing..

Today we had aboard the John Stevens charter from Tom's River, N.J. and the rest of his family from NYC. It was a good day of fluke fishing north of Barnegat Inlet. In the first minute of the charter the first fluke was landed and it was also the largest of the day. Chris caught a very nice 23" fluke and then continued to catch many more keepers. We had a good pull of fluke the whole day. All the fish were between 18" and 23". We also landed at least 20 short fluke with many just under the regulation mark of 18". Bluefish were also taking our baits and many were released. The fluke fishing right now is in full swing, and the fishing is quite good . Water temp. in the bay is very warm but the fish on the bottom were still coming up cool to the touch. Now is the time to go for some great tasting flattie fillets!!!!

OPEN BOAT TRIPS are in full swing....Let me know...
